RAMALINGESWARA AND BHEEMA LINGESWARA TEMPLES, SATYAVOLU
Sri Ramalingswara and Bheemalingeswara temples are situated at Satyavolu Village, 7 Kms. away from Giddalur Town, A.P. It was established by King Janamejaya. The son-in-law of Pandavas and the temple was built by Chalukya’s. The sculpture of Mahanandiswara temple, Alampur temple and Ramalingeswara and Bheemalingeswara temple at Satyavolu are built with the Chalukya style of art. Thousands of people used to visit the temple during the Maha Shivarathri Festival and offer Abhishekams and Prayers to Lord Shiva.
